Passionate about reducing food waste and food poverty, we set up The Social Drinking Company to create delicious drinks using surplus fruit and directly donate profits from every bottle sold to community food charities.

We sell our beautiful bottles of handcrafted Social Shrub for £20, delivered anywhere in London. This year we donated £10 from each bottle sold to Refettorio Felix to help them feed the homeless and vulnerable within their community using surplus food. (£10 will feed one of their guests for a week during Covid times).

Social Shrub is a modern take on an ancient recipe designed to preserve surplus seasonal fruit. Made in small batches from whole fruit, organic apple cider vinegar, spices and a little unrefined sugar, they are perfectly balanced and delicious as a shrub soda or used as a cocktail base (either with or without alcohol).
